The Shortest PR Pitch

This email was sent by a PR rep to a blogger to get coverage of a new BMW video. Instead of a long PR pitch about why the video or story is interesting, they kept it short and to the point: "Google Rampenfest". And the top organic result is the BMW website and video.

Hm... so that's what the Undercurrent guys are up to. I think we just out-ed them.

A couple of years ago I met a young guy named Matt at some tech startup's launch party. He game me his card. It said:

    1. Go to Google.
    2. Type 'Matt.'
    3. Click 'I feel lucky.'"

SO cocky. I never forgot it. And damned if it doesn't still work!

I got the same pitch, but actually found out about it before the pitch through Facebook. They have profiles for some of the characters from the short film.
